We are an international family, with Eastern and Western European links as well as strong ties with the USA.  On first sight of San Isidore in December 2011 we fell in love with the property, despite the fact that, at the time, the two houses on the site were practically ruins.  Restoration started in 2013.  We firstly restored the house that is now available to you as your home away from home.  In 2014 we moved into the house while the other, where we now live, was being restored and we were therefore able to turn San Isidore into a very comfortable and practical home.  In addition to the houses being uninhabitable at the time, the grounds were abandoned.  Now the grounds have been landscaped with very tender and loving care.  We have planted well over 9,000 shrubs and trees, focusing on local and threatened species in such a way as to complement and enhance the natural surroundings.
